There is a difference!

The buying and selling of homes and investment property is the single most important and certainly the greatest financial decisions most of us will make! Advice on these crucial decisions should only come from the most knowledgeable sources. My 24 years of helping people buy & sell homes has resulted in experience with all types of real estate markets, circumstances and a myriad of financial arrangements & contractual situations. I have a "whatever it takes" attitude.

Of all the decisions you will make when buying or selling a home, there is none more important than the person you choose to represent you… You are choosing a business partner to handle the most delicate of your affairs…

The relationship between client and Realtor is a brief, intense, deeply personal one, ideally leavened with calmness, a sense of humor, and above all, trust. You will find that I am a person of integrity and honesty, respected by my clients and peers, and that I am committed to providing the highest level of extraordinary service.

My many years of satisfying people's dreams, one home at a time, have accumulated over one hundred million dollars in sales and provided a wealth of experience for you to rely upon.
I listen with a compassionate ear and counsel with my heart, putting myself in your shoes, and thinking from your perspective, as much as possible, then giving carefully considered advice. I pay attention to the details…

I limit myself to a handful of clients at a time, so that each receives the attention they deserve and require… I feel honored when a client chooses to entrust their home buying or selling experience to my care, and I live up to that trust.
When you hire me as your Realtor, you can do so with confidence, knowing that I have the skills, experience, absolute integrity, honesty and commitment to do an excellent job for you!
I look forward to working with you and to exceeding your expectations!

What Sets Mary Jane Apart?

I have sold 98% of my listings. I have sold new construction, re-sale, single family detached, town homes and condominiums, in every price range from $124,000 to 3.2 million dollars, and have accumulated in excess of one hundred million dollars in sales volume. I was the top agent in the Alain Pinel Realtors Pleasanton Office in 2000.  I have achieved the highest recognition by the Bay East Association of Realtors as a “Grand Master” for my production.

Market Knowledge

I was born and raised in California and have lived in the East Bay since 1982.

I have owned homes in Danville, San Ramon, Pleasanton, and Dublin.

I am knowledgeable about schools, transportation,

recreation, parks, restaurants, cultural activities and shopping.

I have sold homes in all kinds of markets; when interest rates were 15%; in “buyers markets”; in “sellers markets”; when there has been an

Over-supply of homes and when there was little inventory for sale; when multiple offers were common. I have developed methods that resulted in my buyer’s offer being accepted in a field of as many as 14 offers. I know property values. My buyers receive detailed current market information. I am known for preparing homes for sale before they are placed on the MLS, and I am committed to having my listings show their best and to being strategically priced.

Technical Skills & Technology

In addition to the actual knowledge gleaned from successfully closing hundreds of escrows and attending to the unique issues of each transaction, I have taken hundreds of hours of course work in real estate and am continually updating my knowledge of contracts, legal, and disclosure issues.

The internet is a welcome tool, providing a venue for buyers and sellers to locate me and my listings on my personal website: www.callmaryjane.com.

The use of a Blackberry, cellular telephone with email notification, digital camera and a complete home office including a scanner, facilitate quick and easy communication.

Industry Reputation

Early on in my career I became involved in Women’s Council of Realtors, the largest arm of the National Association of Realtors. I have served as Local Chapter President, California State President and National Regional Vice-President, resulting in my meeting Realtors from all over the country. I am respected as a leader and mentor. Locally, I am known for my tough, but fair negotiating skills and high ethical standards.

Bridges are for building, not burning … and cooperation ensures success!
