Included in the many services I offer to sellers is my time to stage your home, at no additional cost to you! The old saying, "You only get one chance to make a good first impression" is especially applicable to homes that are listed for sale.

The first impression that a potential purchaser will have of your home will be determined upon viewing the exterior. Does your home have "curb appeal"? Stand across the street from your home and objectively look at each component of the exterior. What looks good, and what needs improving? The roof, stucco, siding, paint, doors and windows and the landscaping all convey an impression to a potential purchaser.

The way we live in our homes every day is usually not the way we want to show a home for sale.

Model homes in new construction developments strive to de-personalize, beautify and simplify the presentation of each room. Since we are selling your home, not your personal belongings and furniture, we want to create as much space as possible by removing clutter, removing anything that will distract from the potential buyer's ability to visualize their belongings in each room, and re-arrange furniture and decorator items to show your home in the best possible way! It is vitally important that every room in your home is clean!

Our current real estate market is buyer driven. Buyers have many choices and view homes to eliminate them. Objections about how a home shows are much more prevalent now than in seller driven markets. This means that presenting a home for sale with virtually nothing that needs to be repaired or changed will help to insure a faster sale. Any repairs or unattended to deferred maintenance, such as a roof replacement, or the lack of updated kitchens or bathrooms must be reflected in your offer price.
